Red Bull UCI Pump Track World's Qualifier in St Charles County! In the Women’s race Carly Kane laid down the fastest time from the get go with 25.280 seconds. She led the field with Madison Pitts, Brooklynne Schuetz and Jacelyn Reno rounding out the semi-final lineup.
With Carly Kane besting Jacelyn Reno and ultimately Madison Pitts to take home the win and earn herself a paid trip to Chile. Jacelyn Reno prevailed over Brooklynne Schuetz to take the third spot on the podium.
On the Men’s side, Louis Kaminski layed down a blistering run in qualifiers of 22.2 seconds and lead the field into knock-out rounds. The entire 32-rider bracket was full of epic battles and heartbreak. Top qualifier, Louis Kaminski unfortunately crashed out in the round of 16 when he was challenged by a fire run from Michael Hicks.
After many close battles it came down to semi-final matchups between @andersen.amakye325

Well well Canada look at that! Niels Bensink qualified for the Red Bull UCI Pump Track World Championships in Belgium on his BMX and now he has done it in Langford on his MTB. He took the top spot in qualifying rounds, setting the fastest times all day long with a winning time of 18.885. Always nice to make a bit of history. Second placed rider Ryan Gilchrist from Australia on a borrowed bike and a garbage bag for a rain jacket earned the ticket to Chile (with Niels already travelling after his win in Belgium) his fastest time of the day in the Finals on 18.994.
In the Women's category, both newcomers to the series saw a battle between BMX riders Molly Simpsonn and Teigen Pascual at the very wet Jordie Lunn bike park (seems Niels takes the rain with him). Molly secured her place in Santiago with the fastest time of the day in 21.429 against Teigen's 22.069

Paris, Texas! That was HOT, both in temperature and racing! A fierce battle between Shealen Reno and former UCI World Champ Payton Ridenour ensued all day long with Reno one upping every time that Ridenour laid down with Shealen would take the top qualifying place.
The Big Final had both those riders in one final showdown. By the halfway mark it was too close to tell who was in the lead but the second half of the lap showed Payton super focussed and mistake free and the win and that ticket went to Ridenour by just .205 of a second.
The men's class had an immediate favorite in Alec Bobster who placed second to Tommy Zula at the first USA Qualifier in Gaston County, NC. The field of challengers were deep though and this wouldn't come without some hard work from Alec. The 2021 finals came down to Alec Bob and Andersen Amakye and once again they would qualify one and two in the timed runs.
In the Big Finals Amakye faced Alec in a repeat battle from 2021 for the top spot and the amazing
Set in secluded green space in the heart of Edinburgh's UNESCO world heritage site listed Old Town, the world class all weather pump track designed and built by Velosolutions for Skelf Bike Park is the host for the first UK qualifier of the Red Bull UCI Pump Track World Championships in 2022. Just a stones throw from central Edinburgh, the pump track sits at the bottom of the huge volcanic monument, Arthur’s Seat. The 160m track is compact with lots of interconnecting sections and transfer lines, providing lots of challenging opportunities.

So much rain Belgium! For the first time the Red Bull UCI Pump Track World Championship qualifiers had to pull results based off the qualifying times for the final results. Never underestimate those qualifying times. Niels Bensink did it in a time of 21.965 in blazing form and secures his ticket to the Red Bull UCI World Championships Final in Chile in November (all that pump track building must be paying off) a second place for Didi van Tiggel in a time of 22.423 and a third for current UCI Pump Track World Champ Eddy Clerté in 22.428
Danielle Vrenegoor did it in the Women’s Category to secure her place in Santiago with a second place for Sanne Winters. Shout out to Bodi Turner and Wade Turner all the way from Australia for 5th and 6th place.
The Red Bull UCI World Championships Pump Track qualifier in the USA took place at Gaston County. It was sure good to be back at George Poston Park. Tommy Zula is back at it taking the win with the fastest track time of the day of 19.243 in the Finals against Alec Bob. Expect them to show up in Chile for the World Championships. Rachel Mydock secured her World Champs ticket in her first outing after a day long battle with Emily Hayes.
Thank you for an excellent day of racing .
