Will Grant & Tanner Engle took the Track and caught all the pro racing on film. Friday, USAcycling had their National Championship for the Elites and Jr's. Then, on Saturday, racing returned to the NASX series. The racing was as good as always in Rockhil, so heres the recap of things!

In the early '80-s everyone in The Netherlands rode a BMX bike. People in their 40-s-50-s remember that time well as everyone has stories of bombing frontyards, breaking bike parts or winning their first trophy. The magazines were the bible, it was all you had and they were read over and over again. It was how we learnt English in fact with every word that we did not understand looked up in the dictionary. New products were drooled over but impossible to get our hands on for multiple reasons.
Oldschool BMX Parts opened up shop in Heesch for a day to bring the BMX pioneers and oldschool fans together. When you’re on a filming mission, riding a small spot with 30 people is a little bit of a rushy situation. Here we were riding a playground tranny spot and got kicked out by the cops. I remember Spriet going to the moon on that tranny.
Freddy from Berlin took me and Basil from Switzerland to this pier spot to get a quick beach vibe. The negative colors of that photo I took matched the squad picture.

In the end of January I went to Barcelona for a month again. Yearly winter escape because of the shitty weather all the time in Hollandia. This time a lot of different squads from different countries pulled up in the same period.
