Roadtrippin´ through the Republic: The T-Mobile Local Sessions Tour turned the top German bmxers loose to shred the indoor parks and hang with the locals. Tobi Wicke, Senad Grosic and Alessandro Barbero were recently roaming the five BMX parks in Germany which are supported by T-Mobile, in order to check out the parks with the locals. The three riders travelled over 2000 km to visit the diverse locations in Emmering near Munich, Darmstadt, Grevenbroich, Aurich and Berlin to test the new park features intensively. The locals appreciated it and welcomed the riders with some positive vibes. The pros thanked them their way: Frontflip no-handers, Flip whips and Double tailwhips were only some of the tricks that the guys threw down. Additional support was given by: Benny Korthaus, Mark König, Benny Paulsen, Timm Wiegmann, and Björn “Bommel” Mager. Afterwards, the mauled bodies of the riders were refreshed with a free BBQ provided by the grill team who were along for the whole trip.

We've seen sketchy ghetto ramps under bridges but this German version is a bit better. 20 locals pay the rent. Sven Hoffman and Dirk Becker are the main forces behind it and got to work where everyone else kept talking about bowling in the other corners. Get off your ass and make things happen.
