The 2015 Trans Jam BMX Contest Series, owned and operated by the Atlantic Bike Stunt Alliance, will celebrate its fourth year of providing a platform of competition for amateur and professional freestyle BMX athletes. Onlookers at the events will experience many of the same stunts performed at largely televised competitions similar to those seen at the X Games. The contest series finished its first stop in Athens, GA on April 25 and the tour continues on to Raleigh this weekend.

The Raleigh stop will host the tour’s only Dirt BMX competition on Friday, May 15 at Lake Crabtree County Park. The following two days of this event will be held inside the Dorton Arena at the widely attended Got to Be NC Festival and feature Park (ramps), Flatland, Street, and Jump (rhythm) competitions. One of gemanys finest BMX-events called ”Highway to Hill“ is happening at Berlin Mellowpark on the weekend from may 15. to may 17. This means lot of riders from all over gonna be there to enjoy this amazing place while riding their tiny little bikes and drink cold german beers. It’s a gathering of nice people, that represents the core of BMX and how it should be done. Even though the contests (street, miniramp, dirt and a few ”specials“) will be top level, everything evolves around having an awesome time. No big money, no cheesy business stuff.
