Had a couple days off. So decided to visit some friends in Switzerland, enjoy the area and ride some bikes. Thanks Simon Marquart and Yoshi Nagasako for showing me around and letting me join you at the UCI World Cycling center in Aigle. Didn't bring a camera to the sightseeing stuff, but most my subscribers will only care about the BMX stuff anyway, enjoy ;)

2019 UCI BMX World Championships in Zolder, Belgium. It was very high level of competition I ever felt. But I enjoyed to race with them.

Last weekend we were in Belgium for the World Championships. In 2015, I won the World Championships in Zolder. So it was special to race there again.
It's always fun to hang out in the press centre at a big BMX race. Lots of familiar faces show up every time and some serious bullshitting takes place. From crazy wifi codes to secretly taken paparazzi shots circulating among the insiders. The occasional beer at the end of the weekend to wrap things up is a big plus too. With so many photographers around at the 2019 UCI BMX Racing World Championships in Heusden-Zolder it is a challenge to stand out with photos. Plons is one that sees things in a different way and he offered a photo album to us that's worth checking out. So please take a moment to flip through the pics to see how the Belgian photographer saw the race in his home country.
Two weeks ago we had the European Championships in Valmiera, Latvia. Badly I crashed out of the semi final.
