The Union Cycliste Internationale and Hurricane Group regret to announce that the last two rounds of the 2023 UCI BMX Freestyle World Cup –scheduled to be held in Doha, Qatar, on 30 November-2 December and Al Ula, Saudi Arabia, on 7-9 December –, have been cancelled.
The fourth and final round of the UCI BMX Freestyle World Cup (Park)will be staged in Bazhong, Sichuan Province, China, on 13-15 October. This Chinese round will provide riders with a chance to earn points towards the UCI BMX Freestyle Park Nation Ranking, which determines how many athletes from each country will be able to participate in next year’s Olympic Qualifier Series (OQS).
Being staged from March to June 2024, the OQS will directly qualify 12 athletes (six men and six women) for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. Information about the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, qualification system and the OQS, can be find here.
The calendar for the 2024 UCI BMX Freestyle World Cup (Park and Flatland), including new stopovers, will be announced in the coming months.

BMX is fun. At least it should be. If you are up for a good time, try this summer's FATJAM in Aarle-Rixtel. Date? Saturday 26 August 2023 at the infamous Sugar Hills Trails at the Valkendijk. Same shit, different year, but get ready for Bikes, Beers and more beers. With a bit of luck we'll add that BBQ again (update; masterchef Fritskemaat is hospitalized and will not be grilling) so after that BMX session it's time to hang out with the posse to shoot the shit.
Bring your own drinks. Bring your own chair. Bring your own bike. Getting together is half the reason we're throwing the jam, even after all these years.
The evening will continue at OJA, as usual. Schoolstraat 2, Aarle-Rixtel. More (cheap) beer and hanging out. Add live music by Punk Band The Burlers, fussball and hammering nails on that wooden trunk. If you've been there before, you know. If you haven't, your life is not complete until you've visited the FATJAM and OJA in Aarle-Rixtel, Netherlands.
-Admission: Free
-Registration: None
-Parking: Free
-Riding: Gratis
FATJAM 2023: Saturday 26 August 2023. Dirt session: 13h30 - 19h00

Life is better with music. Sessions last longer. The motivation is stronger. Piss off the neighbors if you feel like it. But you need that speaker to take care of business. Teufel Audio are hooking it up for one of you. You'll be amazed by the sound of the Teufel Rockster Cross as it's clean and loud. No distortion when the volume goes up, just the way you like it. The battery outlasts your session (unless you ride longer than 16 hours) and the shock-proof speaker can handle a drop of rain. In short, you need this. While Australia has historically had a strong reputation in Olympic cycling, it would be fair to say the country was not previously a place where casual cyclists toured. However, things have changed massively since the turn of the century, with Australia now boasting a network of cycling trails to rival anything you will find elsewhere. With that in mind, we have scoured Australia to identify our favourite cycling routes, starting with one which is approved by the International Mountain Bicycling Association (IMBA).

At a glance, all BMX racers have to do to take home the gold is get to the finish line first. However, that is not very easy to do when you have seven other riders fighting for the same position and your course is riddled with jumps, bumps, and speed curves. Still some manage to do it. Below, we have compiled a list of the UCI BMX rankings to show you how the riders are doing so far this 2023 season.
