You have probably heard about Stephen Murray's terrible crash he had in Baltimore at the Dew Tour last week. A double backflip went wrong and Stephen broke three vertebrae in his neck and was taken to hospital and operated upon immediately. He is in "critical but stable" condition and will undergo another operation today (Monday). Everyone at FATBMX wishes Stephen, his family and his friends all the best. A strong group of supporters are in the beginning stages of forming a non-profit organization on behalf of Stephen, wife Melissa, son Mason and step son Seth. They will need all the help, support, donations they can get. As plans on the event progresses, we will post the information here on FATBMX.Here's the latest situation:

Okay, let's face it. You did some traveling to a BMX contest to see awesome riding and to hang out with your BMX friends. When the contest gets cancelled because of the shitty weather conditions, your friends are still there. Instead of staying in the hotel moaning about the weather you can go out and have a good time. It wasn't a regular night for the locals in Newton Abbot. BMX was in town which turned the Jolly Farmer and even Enigma into a good place. With Red Bull kicking in 1000 drinking tickets we each had a drink or two. BMX on the Enigma disco dancefloor in Devon, who would have ever thought. 
We have 4 Dave Mirra BMX Challenge PSP games to give away. On top of that we have a PSP player available that will go out to the person who answers the following questions the best. Say all you want but Levi's have a killer team. With Morgan Wade, Anthony Napolitan, Jamie Bestwick and Corey Martinez on the team they've got most bases covered. There's a website dedicated to BMX, they've got a rather big flow team and Levi's have also put together a little team video. It might be more of a long commercial to some but that's what Levi's want to do, promote their product. 
-Girls Contest at the Suzuki BMXMasters We are proud to announce, that the call for girls was loud enough and we have recieved quite a good feedback from the female BMXers meanwhile. The Girl’s Contests can take place. For example Miss Cory Coffey from the USA, Annica Jonsson from Sweden and Irina Sadovnik from Austria will come to the peninsula at the rhine to rock in the disciplines Flatland and Street.
Sunday 24th of June 2007: LAKE JUMP FESTIVAL AARLE-RIXTEL! This Sunday is Lake Jump Sunday at the nice and clean Kanaal at the bridge of Aarle-Rixtel so bring:
- The sun
- Swimming shorts and towell

Focus has shifted, the Red Bull Elevation course is finished. On July 1st (Canada day) the top dirt jumpers in the world will battle it out in Whistler, Canada on a brand new course which looks different from the previous years. It has a platform drop-in, three lines to choose from on the top section, some over vertical berms and a bigger than big set at the bottom of the hill. There will be a live band (Metric) playing on finals day after the Hard Trick contest. We'll give you a few names of riders that will make it to Whistler this year: 
Dave Mavro went over to Australia and filmed the “Sweet As … BMX Oz” movie clip. Australian BMX Pros Corey Bohan and Colin Mackay, and a host of other top name pros, take an exciting road–trip from Sydney to Canberra. Follow their adventure from the 2007 BMX games all the way to Cam White’s Jam. In between stops, be sure to enjoy the amazing riding, kangaroos and a lot of push-ups!
