This summer, the Belgian capital will host the third round of the 2023 UCI BMX Freestyle World Cup (Park), following a successful event in 2022. From July 6 to 9, Brussels will be center stage for the world’s most daring action sports and urban lifestyle ethos as host of “Brussels Urban Sessions”, a free festival during which the UCI BMX Freestyle World Cup round will be held. UCI BMX Racing World Cup Papendal Round 4. Sunday 25 June 2023. French domination in Elite Men continues. Shriever confirms form in Elite Women. Sturiska and Bearman rule U23 classes. Hot, hotter, hottest. The 1-month drought had turned the green Papendal grass into a brown-ish scenery. The little rain on Thursday could not turn the grass back to green. Friday it was hot. Saturday it was hotter and during Sunday’s UCI BMX Racing World Cup it was the hottest. Airco’s, fans, tents, umbrella’s, parasols, sunscreen, sunglasses, water, and coolvests were all very popular products, especially on the last day of the race. But you know what? The conditions were the same for all so it was task to make it work for yourself.

A record number of BMX athletes lined up for Round 3 of the UCI BMX Racing World Cup held at Papendal, Netherlands. The 11th edition sure was a hot one in all aspects. The 27-degree heat had spectators and athletes look for shade but once on top of the 8-meter starting hill it was time to block that out and focus on the first 10-meter-long double jump. The smooth wide-open track at the Olympic training grounds once again was in prime condition giving all participants a fair chance to make it to the first turn in front of the pack.
