Pro‐tec helps you go bigger and ride longer with helmets and pads for skate, bike, snow, and water. While their roots with the Pro‐tec Classic go back to the beginnings of skate and BMX, they continue to innovate with technology, such as SXP multiple impact lining and the “Swing Lock” adjustable fit system to go along with a style that keeps their gear as popular today as it was in the early 70s. 2020 seems to have it figured out. 164 pages of BMX is stacked in their 39th issue. With their summer being our winter, this could also be the summer issue. 2020 has got the BMX freestyle scene covered and next to the event and tour reports, they also feature products for the kids to buy, have competitions in the magazine where someone can win a HARO complete bike, some a T1 with Fly parts, Primary clothing and an X-Rated helmet. Missing is a pull-out poster, which is hard to do if the mag is glued together. The features in issue 39 are as follows:
It's April and BMX PLUS! magazine just released their June cover. I spotted it on Facebook on the mobile so I wanted to get it on the site. When I checked the mail I had the cover waiting in the Inbox. Jeremy Pavia sent it over and it's got S&M's AJ Anaya on the cover who already got a video clip online earlier today. What was missing was the complete contents list so I surfed over to the BMX Plus! website to see it. But their "current issue" was the May issue so I was out of luck there. Now I have the cover photo opened in Photoshop so I'll look at the cover lines to see what the June issue has to offer. Here's what I can find:
The new issue of Ride UK should be on the shelves of your local shop shortly. This issue’s cover features Lima riding one of his favourite spots at his Winter getaway location, Austin, TX whilst staying at the Relentless House. While inside the mag Ride's got everything covered, from the first photos of Harry Main riding again after an injury that nearly crippled him, BSD and FBM on the latest Megatour, the BSD Nike 6.0 Bowl Jam at Unit 23, to the Odyssey team hitting up the Blackpearl skatepark on the Cayman Islands. Don’t forget the regulars too, including an Informer with Matty Worthington, Haro and Premium go to Scotland, Scott the Punk gets to answer 20 Questions, BSD owner Grant Smith gives us his Top 5s, Alex Coleborn hands in his disposable camera, Joss Fenn tells us what’s What? And that’s not all.
100 pages of BMX Plus! magazine arrived today. With a long trip coming up I can use some reading material. The 12 hour layover in Dubai will be better on Monday with some BMX lecture. Here's what's ahead of me:
As you can see we have been updating the website with all the 2011 line. Included in this year line is the added colour of apple green on all the parts across the range. We also have the Ruben and Sergio signature tires available in the tan wall look.
After doing a BMX 'zine for ten years (1987 - 1996) FATBMX made it on the internet. The year was 1998. Here to stay.
