The favorite designs were chosen by you, the voting public. Now, a year later, they are closing the vaults for good. This is the last you’ll see of your favorite 90’s BMX clothing designs.The chart on their site lists the remaining stock on their classic reproduction tees and clothing. When you don't go to an existing skatepark and and to have an event that involves some ramp riding, you have to construct something yourself. Easier said than done. The 2014 Vans rebeljam picked the York Hall Leisure centre in London as the venue. The boxing ring was gone and empty floor was used to create an amazing street course on. Ben Hennon and Anthony Ramsey's Art Ramps company got to work and did an amazing job on it. The design was from the minds of Jeff K and BK and riders are enjoying it right at this moment.
The next round of DownUnderGround is now here. Riders from around Australia have been out filming a contest run to submit for round two of DownUnderGround. The video contest concept is simple, each rider gets to submit one contest video run, between one and two minutes long, as if they were riding at a flatland contest. The video run gets judged using the same criteria as a normal contest, difficulty, consistency and variety. Points are awarded and these points go towards the year end title.A big thank you to Freestyle Now for the first place prize, pro and advanced winners get to share in $400 worth of travel for the next rounds of DownUnderGround. Also thanks to Colony for supplying prizes for 2nd and 3rd place getters.
The judges will now start the judging process and we will post the results shortly. DownUnderGround round 3 – the finals will be taking place on the 29th of November in Melbourne.
The Vans rebeljam is only a week away and the building crew are finishing up the street obstacles for the last major BMX street event of the year. 66 of the world's best riders will gather on Friday 21 November for a first day of practice. The entire contest will take place on Saturday 22 November and will be streamed live on www.redbull.co.uk/rebeljam.
