Just in time for the winter holidays, etnies releases a new Michelin package today unveiling the Veer in lustrous yellow and the classic Marana in brilliant blue. Tried, tested and proven to be three times more durable than regular rubber outsoles, etnies and Michelin have hit pole position with the Marana and Veer once again.
Remaining a skateboarding shoe, household name and a fans favourite for over eight years, the Marana got even tougher with the reinvented Michelin outsole. The Marana features a fused on, injected rubber toe cap for incredible longevity and hidden lace loops to protect and withstand countless flicks. For added comfort and performance, the Marana includes a padded tongue, collar and Pro Foam 1 insole, all sitting atop of a cupsole formulated with Michelin rubber.
Today, etnies drops its Winterized Collection featuring some of the brand’s most popular styles. Adapted for comfort and performance, the new Winterized Collection is laced up with Michelin ice control outsole technology, 3M Thinsulate and water-resistant technology that was made to adapt to anything. Within the Winterized Collection, there are three styles: Sultan SCW, Jefferson MTW and Crestone MTW (showcased in the images below). Available in sizes 37-49 EU (US 5-14), this collection was adapted for comfort and performance in the most adverse conditions.
Derived from the original Sultan shoe, the updated Sultan SCW features a Michelin outsole with ice
Today, etnies is very proud to launch the Camber Crank Shoe, inspired by the Marana and designed especially for those riders using flat pedals, with the OCX-3 Michelin rubber compound that offers superior grip, durability and cushioning. Aesthetically designed with the skateboarding heritage of the Barge and Marana, the Camber Crank outsole is made of the Michelin compound that is versatile under all conditions and offers durability and cushioning. The Camber Crank was also designed with a luggy tread pattern on the toe and heel that allows for uphill and downhill trekking while the stiff molded TPU in the midsole provides positive energy transfer and protection from the pedal upon impact.
