Do you remember the first BMX event you went to this year and how did it go?
Lara Lessmann: My first event this year might be Butcherjam which takes place in my hometown Flensburg. It's one of the biggest contests in Germany and the only one with a girls class. I've made 2nd place this year and had a super fun weekend together with all the ladies and my homies.
How many weekends/days were you away from home and at a BMX jam/contest or on tour?
Lara Lessmann: Well, I've graduated from secondary school at a Danish school and used my 6 weeks holiday to go to Berlin and ride a lot of BMX together with amazing people. We drove from Berlin to the Fise stop in Budapest, after Budapest I stayed one week longer in Berlin. I realized that I enjoy Berlin a lot and decided spontaneously to move to Berlin. I live in Berlin for 4 month now, I do my highschool and have a lot of time to ride BMX.
What was the best event you went to this year that gets your vote?
Lara Lessmann: There were many good events I visited this year. I love all German contests but I think Fise in Budapest was the best event cause of the good atmosphere and awesome people. It's always

Do you remember the first BMX event you went to this year and how did it go?
Maxime Charveron: I think it was Vans bmx pro cup in Australia and it’s rained the all time I ended up doing fuck all because I rode crap but I couldn’t be asked so I was for week in Manly beach which is sick but a bit expensive af
How many weekends/days were you away from home and at a BMX jam/contest or on tour?
Maxime Charveron: Not a lot to be honest because I love been home riding the local spot and all trip I've done were always a filing ceazy ass mission this year for me.
What was the best event you went to this year that gets your vote?
Maxime Charveron: Fuck man I dunno

Alexia Dejoie: This year I started with the Fise of Montpellier after 6 months of arrest due to an injury, it is rather good for me I finished 2nd in amateur girl
How many weekends/days were you away from home and at a BMX jam/contest or on tour?
Alexia Dejoie: I would say at least 8 good weekends.
What was the best event you went to this year that gets your vote?
Alexia Dejoie: It was the UCI World Cup and the UCI World championship in China. It was a huge experience.

Do you remember the first BMX event you went to this year and how did it go?
Kevin Peraza: Monster Energy Toyota Triples dirt Challenge. In Anaheim, California. I got 5th and had some good fun to start the year lol. Hahaha
How many weekends/days were you away from home and at a BMX jam/contest or on tour?
Kevin Peraza: Every other weekend. I think I was home like a month and a half this year. With my girlfriend being 4 hours away and going back and forth from my city to hers. But, I love it. Traveling and seeing the world is an essential part of what I do. I can't complain.
What was the best event you went to this year that gets your vote?
Kevin Peraza: VansBmxProCup in Malaga was the wildest event. Not to mention we all got to session Ruben's Bowl and rode the city. So much hyped and good times. I can't wait to Go back.

Katherine Diaz: Yes, I do. Was great! It was the VANS PRO CUP in Malaga, Spain. I had the opportunity to know many girls and share a lot. Really was a great event.

Do you remember the first BMX event you went to this year and how did it go?
Sarah Lampert: Vans US Open. I was disappointed in my riding which has pushed me to ride bigger transition more regularly.
How many weekends/days were you away from home and at a BMX jam/contest or on tour?
Being away from your bike for 7 months is hell. Daniel Wedemeijer had to go through this during the winter months. But he came back but broke his jaw this summer. The struggle has been real for the Dutchman. 2018 can't come soon enough and with 040BMXPARK around the corner you can bet that these winter months will be spent the right way. Do you remember the first BMX event you went to this year and how did it go?
Daniel Wedemeijer: Fise Montpellier it was and it didn't go as planned. After a long injury on my shoulder I wasn't ready yet for competition.
Call him the veteran, or just the most experienced rider out there. But never count him out. The BMX legend continues to ride because he loves it and because he knows he still has it. 2017 is in the books. Bring on 2018.

Do you remember the first BMX event you went to this year and how did it go?
Ryan Nyquist: Yes it was Simple Session and it didn’t go that well. Hahaha! A couple small slip ups and I didn’t qualify for finals. Made for a short weekend.
How many weekends/days were you away from home and at a BMX jam/contest or on tour?
Ryan Nyquist: A lot. Maybe 100-150. That’s a lot for me.
What was the best event you went to this year that gets your vote?
Ryan Nyquist: The Vans BMX Pro Cup in Australia was so rad! The vibe and the crowd were amazing!
