The UCI offer a permanent number system for Elite Men and Elite Women. With this system, riders can choose a “career number”, which they have the exclusive right to use for their entire Elite class career. This system allows riders to choose a specific number for themselves which they have the exclusive right to use for their entire Elite category career. 6.1.074 Any licensed rider in the category Men Elite and Women Elite can choose a permanent career number between 10-999. A chosen number will be exclusive for the rider, and cannot be used by any other elite category (including Junior category). The number must be used at all international BMX events. A chosen number will remain as long as the rider receives UCI points during the season and will be automatically allocated for the next season. The ultimate BMX Racing summer camp took place during the week of August 17-23rd at the Chula Vista Olympic Training Camp. Chase Bicycles and Tioga partnered up with USA Cycling for the BMX Development 4 Camp series in 2014. The camps are held at the USA Olympic Training center in Chula Vista, CA. Biggest race of the season, home country, fully packed stadium with family and friends. That sums up the great atmosphere in Ahoy, Rotterdam, a World Championship I was really looking forward to. The week after the my European medal I picked up a cold, which I couldn’t get rid of. I didn’t feel good with practice leading to Worlds, but knew with Worlds on 1 day, all could be good.
