This is a unique chance for all flatland lovers to see the best of the best in action in Holland. What's the program like for Friday so people can ditch work or skip school?
Dez: We have a nice dance school as location that should bring some nice vibes. During the day from 2 till 5 pm there will be practice. The contest will start at 5 and the prime will be at 8 during the finals. So people don't have to skip school or ditch work to witness this ;).You've been busy with school. How was your personal preparation for Pro Freestyle?
Dez: Yes it's been a challenge to juggle school, doing shows and competing. I missed out on some major competitions this year which usually drive me to train hard and get new tricks dialed. So this week I'm focusing on my riding and I'm heading to Matthias Dandois' Open at the Sosh Freestyle cup which should be a nice warming up for Pro Freestyle. With people coming in from all over the planet, who is your favourite for the win in Heerlen?
Dez: I hope Jean-William "Dub" Prevost takes the win. It's always a pleasure to see him shred and he's been killing it bringing next level tricks to the competitions.
Can people still enter and is there an amateur flatland contest as well?
Dez: Everyone can enter. The amateurs and pro will be mixed to give amateurs a change to compete along the pro's and there will be an award for the best amateur rider.
Where do riders need to meet up and at what time?
Dez: 2 pm in the dance school on the main square Pancratiusplein in Heerlen.
Thanks Dez. Any shout outs?
Dez: Yes shout out to Martijn Vroemen and Dick-Jan Leegwater who are making Pro Freestyle happen and of course all the riders that will be coming! See you all there!
