If someone dropped a bomb on Burnside last Saturday, the whole Dutch scene would be vanished. Everyone was there. Well known people, unknown people, young people and really old people. Or in Dutch terms “shit was aan!”.

With 3 contest due the evening everybody could show their skills. Arthur from Polen pulled a backflip no hander over the small jumpbox and won the best trick contest. Syo who doesn’t belong to something won the jeans hanging contest. Format: jump with your bike to the jeans and keep on hanging.

Last contest wasn’t really a contest. One big mini session and the best trick/biggest beard award went to Daniël Wedemijer with a 540 footjam (that Harry Main thing).

But the event wasn’t really about the contest, it was more about fun and seeing each other after a long winter break.

Everybody was chilling, talking and some people where killing it.

Flairs. Barspin to wallride to barspin, 360 tobogans , 360 no handers, the Dutch scene is pushing it.

As an surprise act Monster Energy showed up with tons of cans (lot of cleaning the next day). And our sponsors Burnside and Soulcycle helped out well. Thnx for that.

But after all the jam was held to promote our website www.031bmx.blogspot.com (with some sponsor money it will be a dot com in no time) it’s a site that gives the daily updates about the Dutch BMX scene. So if you can’t read Dutch you can just watch the pics and movies.

Big up for the Dutch BMX scene, that shows up anytime anyplace. We are proud to be part of such a close BMX community.
