Perez and Daldy triumph before 35,000 fans in Thonon

This weekend, Thonon-les-Bains pulsed to the rhythm of urban sports as the 4th edition of FISE Xperience lit up the town like never before. Beneath cloudless skies, riders from across Europe and the Americas turned the Belvédère and Square Paul Jacquier into true sanctuaries of action sports. And the crowds, packed in from early morning through to the nightly shows, delivered unrelenting energy that built higher and higher over three incredible days. From Friday’s training sessions and qualifiers, it was clear: the level of riding would be nothing short of exceptional. Olympic finalist Laury Perez once again stole the show, taking the top spot ahead of fellow French rider Maëlys Turiny and Dutch contender Indy Kramer. In the men’s final, the heat matched the hype, with Benjamin Daldy thrilling the crowds yet again to claim victory over Britain’s Reef Way and Team France’s Luca Bertrand.

When the sun went down, Thonon truly felt like FISE Montpellier. Each evening, the Spine Ramp at Square Paul Jacquier transformed into a packed, electric arena. On Saturday night, the atmosphere hit fever pitch: Benjamin Daldy, the young prodigy from Sérignan, took Best Trick BMX with a massive opposite flair 540, while Istvan Caillet clinched the Spine contest thanks to a flawless run, kicking off with a double tailwhip backflip and ending in wild celebration by diving straight into the crowd, carried aloft by ecstatic fans. And who could forget Colombian rider Juan Caicedo, who repeatedly attempted an outrageous front-flip drop, earning deafening cheers with every try.

With competitions, workshops, DJ sets, and a spectacular Saturday-night fireworks show, the 2025 edition marked a new milestone. More international, more festive, and more breathtaking than ever, FISE Xperience Thonon-les-Bains has firmly established itself as a summer highlight, a must-attend stop for both riders and spectators alike.
