Stealing the show with an outstanding performance of tricks across street terrain, Vans flow rider and consistent heavy hitter Broc Raiford earned the honors across the board, sweeping the award slate to claim first place overall, in addition to first place in section one and three. Raiford wowed the judges with his massive 180 up the planter gap and an up rail hard way over 360, alley-ooping into the wedge. Raiford was joined on the podium by German BMX darling Bruno Hoffmann in second place, while Devon Smillie, well known for his technical tricks together in long manual lines, placed in third.
The course quickly evolved into a canvas for some of the best 
tricks to hit Southern California earning rider Nathan Williams a metallic briefcase full of cash for his impressive tire riding up a rail and gapping to a tire ride down a rail.

Broc Raiford Takes Home Top Honors at Inaugural Vans BMX Street Invitational in Huntington Beach

Illustrating your style on your bike is everything! Closing out the first-ever BMX Street Invitational at Vans’ Off The Wall Skatepark in Huntington Beach, twenty of the world’s most talented street BMX athletes battled it out for the top honors in a multi-section exhibition this past Saturday drawing a great crowd and the cheers of Vans founder Paul Van Doren. Nothing was left untouched, as stairs, ramps, rails and even palm trees were dominated by some of the best BMX street athletes.
