Halloween jams seemed to be popular in the BMX community last weekend. Many clips showed up on the net and many Facebook posts involved people dressed up riding bikes. It's a chance for the regular BMX-er to go crazy and have an even better time. At 040BMX the Halloween opportunity was used to throw another event to keep the already happening park even more happening. Without much expectations head honcho Pim van den Bos and his crew made a flyer and called for madness at 040BMXPARK in Eindhoven.

When stepping inside, the place was decorated in Halloween style with Halloween food being offered. Many riders had dressed up and if you hadn't, there was enough makeup available to make you look shitty.

Main purpose was to have a good night out, ride the park, do fun little events, win some goodies and have a laugh. Many riders showed up and also the spectator area, although rather small at 040BMXPARK, was packed. MC Gerco van Leeuwen kept the place happening running from ramp to ramp putting on different contests.

The doubles comp was won by gangster Max Cleuren and fire fighter Steve-0 who jumped in the foampit together on one bike. The highest 180 contest was a close one between Pim Scheers and Tom van den Bogaard. They made it a tie when they were clearing 2 meters out of a flat bank. Nuts. The best trick over the resi was for Tommeke: 360 triple downwhip. You'll be hearing more of Tom in the near future. He's a 040BMXPARK local and didn't need to dress to impress at the Halloween jam.

Riding bikes, having fun, that's what it's about. On to the next one which is coming up quick; Pool Party at 040BMXPARK. Team up with a pool player if you can ride the pool. Team up with a pool rider if you know how to handle a billiard cue. November 14th. Mooon will play live. No need for a Halloween costume, or maybe go seventies style. The band will appreciate that.
