Kiam and I have been friends for over twelve years. Even though we have been neighbors for all our lives, the first time we met was in first grade, when we were put in the same class. A long lasting friendship developed immediately and we created the scooter gang. Riding the hardcore urban streets of Frankfurt on our scooters you could already see his potential in extreme sports. There was no staircase to high for him to drop, no gap to wide for him to jump. But scooter and being a regional tennis pro wasn’t enough for him. So he searched for something bigger, better and much cooler, that could fulfill his desire for extremeness and smoothness at the same time. It was not long until he discovered BMX an extreme sport what he knew, from hours and hours of edit watching, could fulfill his desires if he only spend enough power and time practicing. His 13th birthday came up and his parents gave him his first BMX-bike. He started practicing as soon as possible. After a year of hardcore parking lot flat-sessions by himself he convinced me to join him in his BMX-mission. So we rolled the streets together. This was four years ago and he never stopped riding, he was always on his bike even if he was injured, which finally brought him to a level, that can still his thirst. BMX is Kiam’s passion, it is what he lives and bleeds for. – Friedrich Mühlmann
