Tom Justice. He rode well, but couldn't match JB Peytavit. A split vote from the judges gave the win to Peytavit who went all in with a 360 bike flip. Willem Van Gansen was a last minute addition to the rider list, but had no trouble making it to the final 8 with a huge 180 to fakie transfer and style to die for. Aaron Nicholson under rotated slightly wh
ile trying to front flip the mellow bank and took a hard hit. Out for the rest of the night and on his way back to England to recuperate. Get well soon Aaron!
A special mention goes to Arthur Dietrich, who organises the yearly WNC in Halle de Glisse skatepark. He was supposed to ride, but ended up stepping up to the mic to replace the MC who had to cancel. The competition was tough, but in the end the English came out victorious. Jack Clark and Alex Coleborn sailed through to the finals. It was clearly Jack's night in Lille, taking home both the first place in the knock out contest and landing a 360 triple bus to fakie taking home the win in the best trick contest, not to mention €3000 in prize money. Drinks where on Jack that night.
Thanks to EC/DC for a well organised WNC!
