riders advancing to the final, which was set up as an 18-minute jam-style format. The top two runs for each rider counted towards their final score.
Cranmer dominated and had the crowd going when he took his technical skills to new heights by dropping in from the roof of an old Bavarian structure on the course to add speed to his runs and nailed it despite the pressure coming into the event.
“Excited and proud of myself on my silver medal,” said Cranmer. “With Dew being last weekend, there was a lot of pressure coming into this event being the last big competition of the year - I really wanted to leave my mark. It’s an honor to overcome such a big course and to land on the podium. Thanks to Monster for helping make this happen and let's do it again next year.”
After an incredible performance his runs were full of smooth and tech tricks including a one hand tail whip transfer, bar spin onto the roof, tail whip on the roof before dropping into 9.5’ bowl from roof, alley-oop 360 barspin x up over spine, downside tail whip, bar spin air switch downside whip over box jump, flair in deep bowl, double tail whip over spine to name a few. His top two scores of 41 and 41 giving him 82 total were enough for him to take silver.

Also notable in today’s event is Monster teammate Pat Casey who was exceptionally strong putting together solid runs. His final run might have placed into a medal spot, but he hung up his rear wheel on the spine and took a pretty bad fall. He is ok and had tied for bronze, but was edged out by Daniel Sandoval with a best-run tiebreak score 41 to Casey's best-run score of 40.
