
The podium finishers consisted of Leandro Moreira from Brasil and Americans AJ Anaya and Ryan Nyquist. The Haro rider took the top spot and was hella stoked. It's awesome he's still winning big contests left and right after being on the top of the game for the past 15 years. Ryan did tricks all over the place and was the best rider in the eyes of the judges. Crowd favourite was AJ Anaya which might have something to do with his Mexican roots and the way he worked the crowd. His tricks were great too, good enough to land on the second place spot. Trick of the day was won by Mike "Hucker" Clark who did a fast hang-5 up the starting hill. He felt bad all weekend but that one made him feel a bit better.
"Best line" was won by Rob Darden who found more lines than anyone basically. His jumps back up to the top were something others didn't do. Not sure if his transfer into the soft starting hill helped out here too. Probably not so much. He still killed it all weekend and actually finished 4

15.000 people had a good time. The riders, media, judges, and FORB crew also enjoyed the Mexican hospitality all weekend. It took some convincing by Darryl Nau but we were off to the afterparty on Sunday night. It became a fiesta as the MC had predicted. Gracias Mexico!
