Surprisingly the dirt course in Guadelajara dried up in time for practice to start yesterday. It had rained so much that the course turned into a one foot deep river. Thanks to the concrete and soiltac treatment the jumps held up fine and with that bit of moist in the dirt, it was even better than the day before. The extra traction allowed the riders to push it a bit further and they did. Sometimes you wondered if the contest had already started as 720-s, fronties, double whips and huge transfers were done.
The riders were simply having fun riding the set up and the heat couldn't stop them either. With excellent rider treatment by Red Bull Mexico no one had any complaints. Even the DJ rocked all afternoon thanks to
Corey Bohan's iPod playlist. What else do you need really?
Practice will start in a few hours followed by the contest. Make sure to check back in for more Guadelajara photos and results later on today. Adios amigos.
