The FiSE contest kicked off on Wednesday with the regional contest finals. On Thursday the amateur park contest was on the schedule as well as the Junior park qualification. The rain messed up the full qualification as well as the Pro Miniramp comp, but the high-air contest did take place on the park course. With a spine and a wedge to wedge construction in the way to get speed,
Justin Fouque, Dean Cueson and
Daniel Wedemeijer battled for the highest air.
Justin was consistent at 3,05 meters every time.
Dean Cueson topped that by 3,20m until
Daniel Wedemeijer got some extra speed and sent it to the 3,40m range. Bottom bracket was counted and you can see Daniel with his highest air in the photo on the right.
More from the FISE in the upcoming days. A whole bunch of Australians made it over which will make this an interesting one.
