This is Bruce’s second Free Flow Final win of the Dew Tour season. Bruce took first in the BMX Park Free Flow Final, at the Dew Tour’s Pantech Beach Championships in August.
Bruce said his strategy going into the Dew Tour is to, “Just try to get a good trick on each one and land smooth and stay healthy and not fall.” In its eighth year, the Free Flow Tour, the official amateur series of the Dew Tour, holds competitions across the country throughout the summer and provides a platform for amateur skaters and BMX riders to showcase their skills and go from “Flow to Pro.” The Free Flow tour served as the starting point for the now-pro athlete, Mike Spinner (BMX Park).
The Free Flow Tour BMX Park, Skateboard Bowl and Vert Finals were held at the first stop of the Dew Tour, the Pantech Beach Championships, August 16-19 in Ocean City, Md. The Free Flow Skateboard Street Final took place at the Toyota City Championships yesterday, October 17th, with Austin Ziot earning first and a spot to compete with the pros.
