As the World's best dirt riders gathered at Vans Kill The Line, Masters Of Dirt had their party bus waiting for a road-trip the week after. However, before the MOD madness began, a crazy contest went down. Kill The Line is an event that is like nothing else. A massive trail that the Peynier locals work on year round, became the spotlight for one of the biggest dirt contests of the year. Nothing like the usual contest line, the Peynier Trail had 10 huge jumps, including a huge stepdown, a massive berm, and several hips. The trail riding atmosphere made Kill The Line more like an awesome trails session opposed to a normal contest.
MOD's
TJ Ellis and
Mike "Hucker" Clark ended up 3rd and

2nd. But unfortunately,
Jed "Kahu" Mildon seperated his shoulder and was unable to ride, and unable to send his signature chilled out Double Flip.

After Kill The Line, MOD took some of the sickest riders along to go ride trails in south France. Among them were
Hucker, TJ Ellis, Patrick Guimez, NZ's
Paul Langlands, Colombia's
Alejandro Caro, and the UK's
Jack Marchant and
Ryan Taylor. Our first stop was the most insane backyard setup any of us had ever seen. It was a trails style skatepark with many different hips and a big step up box jump, which we could ride in endless trains, as all of the jumps made a huge circle. It was for sure one of the funnest sessions ever.
That evening we went to a fun set of trails, full of hips, berms, an over-under jump, and even a snakeline through the woods. With landings as steep as the the lips, the jumps were awesome to ride. The Masters Of Dirt founder himself
Georg Fetcher went down hard after a case shot him over the bars to the flatbottom.
The next morning, we went back to the Peynier Trail, and had an amazinng session. There were always huge trains going through the line, everyone was having a blast. For the last trail stop we w

ent to the Armanuzuro Trail, the best six pack any of us ever rode. The jumps were dug super deep into the ground, making huge landings and transitions possible. They even had a dirt to foam, the only one of those I've ever seen. Everyone was sending it.
Paul Langlands did a flip whip second go through the line, and continued to do nearly all of his crazy flip variations.
Luke "Bogan" Bridges nailed a double grab superman and added a 360 superman seatgrab indian. I was psyched on pulling my first front flip 360 on dirt. That night, after the MOD bus came an inch away from being destroyed by the parking garage ceiling, a crazy party went down. It was the best way to finish off a sick roadtrip before heading off to Serignan for Lords Of Dirt.
