After the meeting up with Andy Zeiss at 5 o'clock in the morning and a full flight to NYC, there was no time to rest for Bruno Hoffmann when he got to New Amsterdam. Getting through customs was a breeze this time for the Red Bull rider, but he's prepared to answser the standard questions at immigration.
"I'm here to check out the city" are the lines of the 17 year old who wears as little sponsored clothing as possible when entering the country. Any suspicion should be avoided, especially when entering the USA.

After getting across the border Bruno and Andy got themselves a rental car and headed for Manhattan, the place of the Holiday Inn hotel for the next few days.

But the big apple never sleeps, and it's just noon, so New York needs to be explored. It's off to ground zero first to take that part all in. Impressive to say the least. Then the German Red Bull athlete manager arrived so it was a time for a drink with Mini. Pressure is on for next day's contest but the FourLoco's help get the focus off the comp.

After a 16 hour trip I met up with the three at Times Square in front of all the neon lights. Surreal. We walked for another hour to find the Chipotle that we were looking for. It was well worth it. For the last stretch Mini, Andy, Bruno and I hopped in a Taxi to get to Broadway/La Fayette. The contest was the next day.

Time for some sleep, it's been a long day for Bruno since the early departure in Germany.
