PlayStation Pro Moment – The athletes who were nominated throughout the five-stop Dew Tour season that performed the single best trick at the Dew Tour Championships in Las Vegas
· Chad Kagy, BMX vert, 31, Gilroy, Calif. – barspin to no-handed flair, performed at the Dew Tour Championships at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nev.
PlayStation Player of the Year – Recognizes the athlete that best represents themselves in and out of action sports through progression and innovation of their sport, support of action sports and its growth, and overall sportsmanship
· Bucky Lasek, skateboard vert, 37, Baltimore, M.D.
PowerBar Performance of the Year – Recognizes a single performance by an athlete that may be either the highest score or one that was clutch under pressure when it was needed most
· Brandon Dosch, BMX dirt, 21, Lake Orion, Mich. – Dosch did what he had to do by charging the BMX dirt course and winning the BMX Dirt Dew Cup for the first time in his career.
Paul Mitchell Breakthrough Athlete of the Year – Voted on by the athletes, this award recognizes an athlete who does something that surpasses expectations
· Francisco Zurita, BMX vert, 26, Chile
Dickies Open Qualifier Award – Presented to the BMX and skateboard Open Qualifier athletes that finished highest overall in their Open Qualifier weekend debut
· Skateboarding – Pedro Barros, 15, Brazil – Barros kicked off the 2010 season by placing fourth at the skateboard vert final at the Dew Tour’s Skate Open in Boston, Mass.
· BMX – Brett Banasiewicz, 16, South Bend, Ind. – Banasiewicz placed first in the BMX dirt final at the Dew Tour’s Nike 6.0 BMX Open in Chicago, Ill. this past July.
During the four-day event, approximately 30,521 fans experienced the Dew Tour Championships at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nev.
