The internet is a crazy place. News gets spread quickly and when BMX Mania's Jerry Landrum announced his retirement it spread like wildfire. Almost to the fact where it felt someone had died and people were writing good things about him. For sure it's nice that Jerry got to read all of the positive messages himself. I'm not sure where I met Jerry first. It was probably at Interbike where he, just like me, was looking at new bike parts, taking pics for his site and checking if someone would be into supporting his BMX Mania website which for the longest time was the 'go-to' website for the racing community, way before social media came alive.
