Frenchman Matthias Dandois has made a career out of breaking new ground on his beloved BMX bikes with the 32-year-old heading to the iconic Streif mountain to help celebrate the 2022 running of the famous Hahnenkamm downhill races. Here is all you need to know: When a Frenchman stands at the starting gate of the legendary Streif mountain, anything can happen with Adrien Duvillard, Guy Périllat, Jean-Claude Killy and Luc Alphand all winning the Hahnenkamm downhill. This year, the 82nd edition of the Hahnenkamm will again feature two downhill races but this time the competitors will launch their thrilling run from a newly renovated hut that has been extended by one floor.

Simple Session 22 will be back in Tallinn, Estonia, on June 11-12, 2022 with another big summertime festival and an all-around good time! The Simple Session series will host an exciting contest in the Põhjala Factory district – an old rubber factory turned into a cultural hub will serve as a thrilling location for the event. Around a hundred of the finest BMX riders and skateboarders from around the world will go head to head on a new 600m2 Wessel-designed course. Skateboarding and BMX are all about creativity. So is Simple Session – hosting the series at the coolest and liveliest venue in Tallinn will take the entire contest experience to another level for athletes and viewers alike. British BMX rider Kieran Reilly may have just made his first lasting imprint on the sport in his early twenties with a world first trick. Kieran Reilly became the first person in the BMX world to land a triple flair at Asylum Park - a feat that pushes the boundaries of what was thought possible in the sport and a trick that shows the incredible trajectory that the star British BMX rider is on.
