American BMX Company (ABC) is pleased to announce the addition of Carol McNaught to the sales team as assistant to the sales director. "I am happy to have Carol onboard. She comes to us with a wealth of knowledge and understanding of the bicycle business. She is truly going to help take us to the next level," said Art Ornelas, ABC's sales director.
McNaught will work with Ornelas, handling customer service calls and warranties and will use her extensive list of industry contacts to add to ABC's list of sales reps and retailers.
McNaught has worked in bike industry since 1994, spending13 years JAX Bicycle Center, as well as a stint at Serfas where she was a product manager. Prior to taking time during the COVID-91 pandemic to stay home with her family, she was office manager for the sales rep agency Tsunami Sales Group.
"I've known Art since he worked at GT, and I worked with him at JAX when he was a sales rep for Nirve. Art and I are friends and we connected on Face Book after I posted that I was looking for a job.

Papendal will host the UCI BMX Racing World Cup 2022 for the 10th time
This year eight UCI BMX Racing World Cup races will be held at 3 locations. Here the Dutch riders can score important points for the UCI ranking. Two of those World Cup competitions will take place at Papendal on 11 and 12 June. This is the 10th time that the organization of a World Cup is in the hands of Papendal. A UCI BMX Racing World Cup round will be held on both Saturday 11 June and Sunday 12 June. Friday is reserved for training. A new class has also been added: 'under 23', which means that 2 extra finals (U23 men and U23 women) have been added in this class on both days. This new class offers riders the opportunity to compete in the UCI BMX Supercross series without having to race the Elite riders right away. The format is the same as that of the Elite riders.

Together with ggmimage.com we wanted to bring together the amazing energy of Bike N Mic ( BMX & Hip Hop ). I traveled the world during the past 22 years and when I do shows I include the competition tricks because this defines me as an athlete. It happened very often that there was a lot of magic in these moments! Therefore we thought on bringing together the amazing line up of riders who can deliver both: an amazing show skills connecting with the crowd and epic competition tricks to let everyone with a WOW.
The public will vote with an app that measures the decibels. So riders need to connect with the crowd and still deliver amazing tricks! It’s a big challenge full of good vibes! All riders win as they will have their own time on their demand.
But don’t forget they are warriors and they will fight for the Podium! We will have one contest on Saturday and one on Sunday.
It’s a new concept and we can’t wait to see the results!

Red Bull UCI Pump Track World Championships Qualifier Bariloche, Argentina – March, 5th 2022
The City of Bariloche is home to the first ever Velosolutions Asphalt Pump Track on Argentinian soil. The Bariloche Pump Track has a mix of berms, rollers, jumps, and transfers catering for beginners through to elite biking athletes. Located next to Bariloche skate park and just minute’s walk from Bariloche town centre. The pump track is free to use for anyone with wheels. Bariloche had the past weekend the Red Bull UCI Pump Track World Championship qualifier for the third time and looking forward to going bigger and better next year.
