If you reach a certain level in your riding most likely you'll be asked to put on a demo at some point. Maybe through one of the sponsors that you've gathered at that point or maybe someone in the crowd walks up to you and offers you to put on a demo at his next event. You can say you're not interested if it's not your thing to do your tricks in front of a crowd. Fair enough. But it's an opportunity to see new places, meet new people, and get people involved in BMX who have never seen anything like it.
