BMX Mini Mega had a ten-rider final with talent from Australia, Honduras and USA. Shanghai witnessed history when Australia’s returning gold medalist, Vince Byron, landed the first ever 540 flair on the mini mega. Earlier in the week in the BMX Vert competition, Bryon landed the same trick making it the first time it was landed in a vert contest giving him another gold. USA rounded out the podium with only a half of a point difference with Zack Warden and Mykel Larrin winning silver and bronze, respectively.
