Out of a field of 30 BMX riders, Larry Edger won the BMX park competition Saturday at the Gatorade Free Flow Tour’s stop in Perris, Calif. Fifteen-year-old Edger from Corona, Calif. earned the victory at The Compound after executing a 360 tailwhip and a 180 tuck no-hander in his winning run.
Daniel Sandoval was second and
Steven Rice finished in third place.
“I’m so excited to win on the Gatorade Free Flow Tour,” Edger said.
“My hands won’t stop shaking!” “Today’s competition went well,” Compound owner,
Shane Guillen said.
“There were a lot of good rippers that came out to compete. I’m glad I wasn’t a judge! It was a tight contest.” With the win, Edger earns an automatic bid into the Gatorade Free Flow Tour Finals that will take place at the Dew Tour’s Toyota
