USA Cycling is pleased to announce a new BMX Women's Development Program, as well as the hiring of Dwight Training, Pty Ltd., which is led by Sean Dwight, to oversee the new program's coaching activities. The United States has a large, undeveloped pool of 14 to 18-year-old female riders who are internationally capable. The objective of the BMX Women's Development Program is to move athletes from grassroots racing onto international podiums, thus maximizing the United States' UCI Nations Ranking and gaining the maximum start spots for American women at the 2012 Olympic Games in London. 
The plan was to make one jump rideable at the opening of the new pump track in Helmond. And even that was an impossible task. It rained cats and dogs and the spot looked more of a mud hole than a BMX pump track. Still about 40 people showed up with umbrella's and rain coats to unmask the official Flame Trails sign. After that the whole crew moved to a warmer place where the speeches were held by Mrs. Houthoofd, Gerrit Does and 2 of the locals. All in all it didn't take too long for the spot to get approved and built. It seemed that everyone involved wanted to get it done and believed in the little project. Now it's just waiting for the sun to come out for a few days. The first Flame Trails jam has been scheduled for 2 May. 
The refined 2010 Recruit RN1 features a lower standover, shorter top tube, slimmer cranks and still has the build & quality you can trust. For 2010 the RN2 was added to the United Bike Co complete bike program. The RN2 has a longer top tube, integrated headtube, United parts and a host of other features.
