The sport of BMX is often seen as a gateway into cycling, with many of today's road and mountain bike legends beginning their path on small wheels. We sent GCN's James Lowsley-Williams and GMBN's Blake Samson to ride with some athletes who chose to stay on that path, with an aim to find out just what it takes to turn dirt, into gold.

The Blue Groove Bmx Store opened in Brisbane in December 2020 and had the suburb the put to celebrate. Great to see a bunch of young shredders and the bag was always a highlight.

A BMX TRIP THROUGH SOUTHERN CHINA - 'BOUNDLESS GUANGDONG JOURNEY'
A journey though the southernmost parts of China, with Guangdong - a group of riders from all over China, including local BMX crews like BLACKPARTY, MEI7 CREW, HUB CREW, THE CREEP SHIT, etc., shredded the cities of Foshan, Guangzhou, and Shenzhenk. Filmed over one week - video by YAXI.
BMX Is the best. I was annoyed at first to find so much mess up at the park this morning. Then I tidied up a little and used part of the mess for a session. Shopping trolleys are a common find on a Sunday morning up at Hastings skatepark! This time no one else was around, so moved it about and had a session.

-Spot to ride: I have a few favourites for sure…my local Araucano Park in Santiago, The Village in Brisbane, the old Ben's Backyard in Orange County and House Park in Austin.
-BMX video: The first one that I watched was the Aaron Ross part in Odyssey Electronical. The one that I used to watch to get some motivation was the Harry Main Insight Series (He was so sick!) but now my favourite is Credence in Puerto Rico. Or the Dave Mirra sentenced to life uuuuuuuf.
