The first night of the 'Legends Of The Fall' Jam was an absolute riot! Thank you to the people that helped make this event happen. BMX has a long history in Milwaukee, so to see the community come together like this again was super special. This is only a taste of the action, come out next year and experience it for yourself.

Started riding BMX in: Racing in 1980, but have been riding BMX bikes since about 1976.
Number of bikes in the collection: Only a few as of now. It's alway revolving stable.
Do you remember the moment that you decided to start collecting BMX memorabilia?
Shannon Gillette: I always just kind of hung on to my personal stuff. Like jerseys and number plates. But the first bike? I lived in Hawaii at the time and the year was 1989. It was actually a friend's old race bike, a 1979 Supergoose and he was throwing it in the garbage in front of his house. So I swooped it up and he told me I couldn't take it. I had to buy it from him. hahaha.. I said what?! You're throwing it out in the garbage. He said I want $40 for it. I said DEAL! It was in rough shape, but working in bike shops for 10 years I was up for the task. Long story short, I cleaned it up, rev=built the wheels as the spokes were all rusted. Hawaii does that to bikes with all the salt air.
Two first venues for the 2024 UCI BMX Freestyle World Cup confirmed!
Hurricane Group and UCI are pleased to announce the first two rounds of the 2024 UCI BMX Freestyle World Cup, to be hosted in Enoshima, Japan, and Montpellier, France. The additional rounds of the 2024 calendar will be announced at the beginning of next year. The 2024 UCI BMX Freestyle World Cup kicks off in style, in the beautiful location of Enoshima, Japan. Japan has previously played host to the contest in 2018 and 2019 and FISE couldn’t be more delighted to once again hold an event in this amazing country.
This first UCI World Cup stop will see some of the world’s best BMX Freestyle athletes compete in both the Park and Flatland formats, with categories open for Men and Women.
The competition will be part of the Enoshima Wave Fest, a unique and exciting new event combining BMX Freestyle, Live Music and a Food Festival.
