We all wish we could like Garrett Reynolds, but that just ain't possible. But seeing as Garrett is such a nice guy, he went over all of his Fiend and Cinema parts for his bike check and explains why he sets his bike up the way he does. So at least you can build your bike just like his—as long as you're not like six feet tall!
Day five was a travel day. Day six was epic. We got massaged by a waterfall, almost bit by monkeys, saw an epic cave, and met a ton of awesome locals...100% one for the books. "Street Dragon Tour - Seoul, Korea - Day One I'm gonna be on the road with the Vans squad for two whole weeks going from Korea to Malaysia to Singapore, so why not go hard with the daily content?
Our FIRST Athlete of the Week from Down Under! Check out, newest Australian recruit Sam Gibson!
We went to ride a famous New Jersey hand built concrete ramp in a drainage ditch! It is awesome and so unique and all the riders were so excited to ride it for the first time! The guys started to land some tricks and we were all having such a great time as well! Dom did an amazing jump off the wall and landed into the ramp and immediately jumped over a huge mud puddle! We are having so much fun riding outside again and we are excited to enjoy riding together!
@wemadeitvisual had a jam in Long Beach for Cinco De Mayo where bmxers from all over southern California came to be apart of. ENJOY.
Vans, the first action sports apparel and footwear brand to ever support BMX, is introducing retro-inspired colorways across two Classic silhouettes as part of the BMX Checkerboard Pack. The five-piece collection out this fall uses vintage color combinations and Vans iconic checkerboard pattern to update the Era and Sk8-Hi models.
Designers looked to the brand’s nearly 40-year legacy in action sports, drawing inspiration from colorways first worn and sported by its own BMX team riders in the late ‘80s and early ‘90s. The BMX Checkerboard pack highlights the Era and Sk8-Hi, which are each outfitted in a two-tone color scheme and checkerboard printed sidewalls. The Era will be available in three colorways including an ode to
JunkieJam 2.0 at the Junktrails coming this 9th of June. As you may know these aren’t really trails but one wooden trickjump (6 feet high, 10,5 feet radius) with a soft landing and an old school quarterpipe we cut down this time to 6,5 feet high (with 8 feet radius) Last year everybody had a blast trying so many new tricks on this setup so there had to be a sequel…..
The jump was liked by all last year so no changes there. The roller coming into the jump was giving some people a bit of a problem but in true BMX spirit people were helped and coached so at the end everybody was having a good time. This year we will reshape the roller so more emphasis can be put on pushing for hard and new tricks on the jump. Music will be played, free beers will be shared and the BBQ will be lit and again we hope to see a lot of people push their limits without injuries.
Thanx to everybody that is helping but especially DTX13, 0172INK and Paul’s Boutique BMX Hardware Store.
See you guys there, we are expecting to start around 13:00 and the closest know location is Kleiweg 500 in Rotterdam! (just follow the flyover of the tram and watch behind the pillar)
Belgium's Elke Vanhoof is an Athlete at the Belgian Defence and part of the Belgian team. After an injury plagued 2017, bad luck happened again at Papendal last weekend when she broke her collarbone in an unfortunate crash. Elke's bike of choice is the Pure V5 XL, a bike that will be waiting for her when it's time to get back to the grind. We checked in with Elke to see what parts she runs that makes her so fast.

How long have you been riding the frame that you are currently on?
Elke Vanhoof: From the beginning of the season.
Do you experiment much with geometry/size of your frame, stem, bars?
Elke Vanhoof: We did a bit of experimenting. But in the season it's better to keep the same stuff.
