Round 5 and 6 of the European BMX Championships took place in Vösendorf, Austria last weekend. With a full racing day on Saturday and a full racing day on Sunday it was an important weekend in Elite men now that Thomas Allier is sidelined with an injury. Frenchman Florent Boutte did well with a win on Saturday and a 2nd on Sunday.

Bombshell / Avent welcomes Tyler Brown back to the team. Tyler has the skills and desire to compliment our team of TOP NOTCH AA and A PRO riders. Tyler's upbeat personality and skills are right at home in the Bombshell / Avent family which consists of Donny Robinson, Jason Rogers, Javier Colombo, Randy Stumpfhauser, Jason Richardson, Scott Taylor, Tony Harvey, Daryl Dawes, Kevin Jones, Adam Treadwell, and Cassie Bushnell.
Tyler was an integral part of our improved frame geometry for 2005 through testing and recommendation. He has put the Avent Morpheus through torture testing, even performing back flips on the frame to prove the strength of a carbon fiber race frame.
The biggest news for Tyler this year is that he was asked to train at the UCI World Headquarters in Switzerland for 3 months. May 2005: Moto-X report of friends doing battle at MON in Venlo.

It's no secret that we do like Motocross over here at FATBMX. It's a nice workout and a blast to do. Some of our buddies entered the MON championship race in Venlo on 15 May. We decided to show some support and took some pics in the meantime. Christian Mandigers was the only guy to make it to the podium. He finished 2nd in the 250cc Inters class with a 2nd place in moto 1 and 3rd place in moto two on the sandy track. Enjoy the photos and if you're not into the moto-x thing, just wait for the next BMX article to show up. 
The ABA pros had two days to score points for the overall championship last weekend in Utah. Saturday had Specialized's Brandon Meadows on the top spot of the podium and on Sunday it was defending ABA number one pro Bubba Harris (Redline) who climbed on top. Check how your favorite pro did over the weekend.
