What a week in Australia… It was such a great feeling being back on the supercross 8m start hill again for the first time since the Olympic Games. Leading into the event it was nice to catch up with old friends on the Gold Coast and people that I haven't seen since before the Games. The Nationals week started off with myself and some of the pros helping out with the under eight year olds "Sprocket" coaching clinic which was a great success. A new edition to racing in Australia is the "Mini Wheelers" which are the under five year olds category. There was even one little fella out there still in nappies who was almost two years 
After doing a BMX 'zine for ten years (1987 - 1996) FATBMX made it on the internet. The year was 1998. Here to stay.
