The first day of the Suzuki BMXMasters has already broken all records. A mixture of clouds and sun guaranteed perfect conditions for very extreme BMX action. The highest starter numbers in the history of the masters are extreme as well. Some of the more than 500 riders took it easy during the first day and tested this year's extraordinary dirt and street tracks. Some others already showed their best to qualify for their finals. The girl qualification has to take place on Saturday before the finals because over 120 experts

We have not hit up the official parties yet at the BMX Masters. The Holland House is set up underneath the Zoo bridge and it has been a good time every night. People are asking about the Zoo bridge Dutch parties but we're not sure what's going on tonight (yet). Pro mini and Pro dirt first and we'll see what goes on after that. The INSANE machine is coming back for the 2008-2009 season. Through his style and original graphism, Insane is still growing up and will propose soon new shirts, polos, sweaty and socks as well! All those new products will complete the underwear collection. Insane spirit keep worring about Ecology. That's why the team is working on bio products.
The brand is not forgetting it origin and it is still rocking in actions sports. 2 BMX riders added to the team are:
-Pascal Guerard: one of the most famous bmx rider in europe, Pascal just join the family and will compete in many international contests.
-Patrick Guimez: the fresh new member of the crew. Patrick is on of the owner of Insane and finaly decided to ride for his own products! He will ride all the European contests in dirt and also the american championship (dew action tour)

The BMX Masters are on its way. Loads of riders made it to Cologne this year and the week's FAT-Friday is coming straight from the media office in Cologne. We'll jump right in to give you the latest news.

On January 18, while riding his bike to work Mike Vincent, a former BMX rider who has been a prominent fixture in the sport for many years, was struck by a car. He sustained major head trauma and many bodily injuries, including the possibility of permanent loss of sight. Like many action sports athletes, Mike did not have any insurance at the time of the accident therefore payment for all of his treatment and future rehabilitation and surgeries, outside of a life-threatening emergency, will have to come out of his own pocket.

In addition to competing in BMX, Mike has worked as a judge for all of the major action sports competitions, including the X Games, LG Action Sports World Tour, AST Dew Tour, and the former Gravity Games. He has also been a part of most of the core BMX competitions, including Rebel Jam and the CFB events.
