OK, you got us - they aren't in the woods, but Keith Hartwell's jumps are beautiful works of art in the socal desert. Much respect to the boys who put in work at the spot and thanks Keith for hosting the session!
It seems like just last week when this trip happened, everything was relatively normal, no pandemics at least, then BAM!
During a global pandemic follow me on a journey through the streets of Zürich, Switzerland. In this situation life is valued even more!
After many discussions regarding how to deliver an edition of FISE World Series Montpellier that can meet the safety and security requirements needed in response to COVID-19, Hurricane Events, in consultation with our partners, has taken the decision to organize a fully digital FISE Montpellier event in 2020.
Due to the impact of COVID-19, Hurricane Events had initially adapted it’s events calendar in order to hopefully take advantage of more favorable conditions this summer. Given the ongoing situation and the new measures announced by the French government on April 28th, this plan had to be revised to ensure the health and wellbeing of all festival attendees, which remains our main priority.
According to a media survey commissioned by Estonia’s action sports series Simple Session 2020, the event reached 735 million people worldwide via traditional and social media. The report compiled by Meltwater, a digital media monitoring company established in Norway and based in San Francisco, finds that mentions of this year’s Simple Session festival had a cumulative reach of almost three-quarters of a billion people. The report counted social media posts, as well as traditional digital media articles published online. The survey was conducted over three months: from January 1st to March 31st 2020.
Within the first quarter of 2020 Simple Session amounted 4259 mentions in social media. This number

Hastings own Phil Martin put some time in at Source Park pre UK lock down! Classic, Solid moves only from Phil!
Name Park: The backyard ramp
Operator: Mike Varga
Location: Ontario, Canada
What are the Covid-19 restrictions where you live at the moment?
Mike Varga: The Covid-19 has definitely got crazy with restrictions. Haven’t tried going to any parks but I know a few buddy's who got tickets for being at outdoor parks. Basically I can only travel around Ontario and even with that they have checkpoints to make sure your travel is necessary. All indoor and outdoor parks are closed. Basically just at home.
How does it feel having a ramp available whenever you feel like riding?
Mike Varga: Man it's absolutely amazing to have my own ramp! Keeping riding is key for keeping me in
