My 2017. Pat Casey rides different. And in Freestyle, different is good. His fakie stuff is so hard which is also a reason you don't see it happen often in contests. Watching Pat ride practice is one of my favourite things. He treats the course like a Supercross MX track and finds a take-off where he can send it sideways every time. With all the traveling, his family and his vlog, Pat has his hands full. Never a dull moment.

My 2017. With only two flat tires in 2017 it gives an indication of how smooth Jeremy Malott really is. Being on the road riding BMX with his mates is what Jeremy lives for. 2017 was good. How good? Read below as he gives some feedback on his special year.

Do you remember the first BMX event you went to this year and how did it go?
Jeremy Malott: The first event I went to this year was the Triples event in Anaheim and it was actually my first time ever riding dirt so it was awesome to adapt to it, I’m looking forward to the events next year!
How many weekends/days were you away from home and at a BMX jam/contest or on tour?
Jeremy Malott: I was away at least 2 times every month and the trips lasted about a week or so each so I was definitely on the go!
What was the best event you went to this year that gets your vote?
My 2017.The year is almost over. Time to reflect on the past 12 months. Read the 2017 experiences of Costa Rica's Kenneth Tencio.

Do you remember the first BMX event you went to this year and how did it go?
My 2017. The BMX girls had a killer year in 2017. Nikita Ducarroz is one of the more professional riders with a strong list of sponsors backing her up. Although Nikita lives in the USA and grew up there, she has chosen to represent Switzerland on her way to the qualifying process for the first Olympic Games that BMX Park is a part of. Read below what Nikita has to say about 2017.

Sponsors: Mongoose, Joby, G-Form, Extreme, Black&Decker
Do you remember the first BMX event you went to this year and how did it go?
Nikita Ducarroz: First event was FISE Montpellier. It was my first big overseas event and actually the only stop this year where I stomped my run start to finish with the 540. There were so many amazing riders there that when I made podium, it was a huge accomplishment!
How many weekends/days were you away from home and at a BMX jam/contest or on tour?
Nikita Ducarroz: It felt like I was never home this year between BMX and family trips, but it was only about 11 weekends out of the year that I was at BMX contests. About 80 days.
