You were part of the BMX freestyle scene for a long time. From when to when did you travel the most?
Dave Freimuth: Standard Byke Company sent me, Chad Degroot, and KRT Schmidt to Germany in 1996, (first international trip of my life!) after that it was pretty much full on till about 2008.
How much help did you get from your sponsors to travel from contest to contest?
Dave Freimuth: I got ALL the help from my sponsors! Etnies, MacNeil, UGP, Standard, DK, Huffy, and Colony sent me on some of the most amazing trips of my life! To this day I still feel so blessed to have had their support.
You were one of the few that always had a camera handy, and not only at the contest, but also at night. How much footage have you got on tapes?
Dave Freimuth: Video, I can't really say, we picked the tapes over pretty well for Baco videos and such...

At the annual old school BMX reunion on 3/14/15 we did a Nor Cal theme and honored our own Hugo Gonzalez. This was the intro video that played before we toasted him.
