30-Year-Old Ryan Williams from Sunshine Coast, Australia, Takes Gold in BMX Park Best Trick. Bringing the heat to X Games Japan! Monster Energy congratulates its team of BMX, Moto X, and Skateboarding athletes on their history-making performances on the first day of X Games Osaka 2025. On Saturday, Monster Energy riders claimed a total of eight medals (two gold, two silver, and four bronze) across five contest events inside the Kyocera Dome stadium. In the heated BMX Park event, 27-year-old Anthony Jeanjean from Béziers, France, took bronze as his first X Games medal.
The team scored a double podium in Dave Mirra BMX Park Best Trick with 30-year-old Ryan Williams from Sunshine Coast, Australia, claiming the gold medal, and 30-year-old Kevin Peraza from Tucson,
Heat wave or no official heat wave, Round 3 of the UCI BMX Racing World Cup was hot over at Papendal today. The BMX Racing community had gathered in The Netherlands the weekend after the two opening rounds in Sarrians, France where Dutch athletes Jason Noordam (U23 Men), Michelle Wissing (U23 Women) and Elite racers Arthur Pilard (FRA) and Molly Simpson (CAN) left as leaders of their specific classes. With a record number of athletes for the 12th edition of the UCI World Cup at Papendal it was harder than ever to get through the rounds to make it to the final race of the day.

Finished the first two UCI BMX World Cup rounds with a 5th place in the semi on day one and a crash in the semi on day two. Felt great on the bike and it was a big step forward, but hard not to feel like I came up short after missing both finals.
