Omote and Ura loosely translates as the 'seen' and the 'hidden', 'front' and 'back', 'outside' and 'inside', and, we think, helps indicate some of the more explicit, obvious as well as overlooked or forgotten aspects of riding.
We’re very stoked to officially welcome Kio Hayakawa to the Colony family. He has been riding for us for a little while now but it was time to release a welcome edit. Thank you to both Simon O’Brien and Stewart Munro for bringing it all together. Here is to many years ahead with Colony and Kio with his magical brand of flatland. Have fun, ride bikes!

The Vans Canada Team embarks on an adventure on home turf uniting Dillon Lloyd (WTP/ECLAT), Chijioke Okafo (KINK), Justin Hughes (WTP), Mike Gray (HARO/PREMIUM) and Kurt Ebenreth on their first adventure as the official Vans Canadian team. Great to see Vans Canada backing BMX with an official BMX program, sending this dialed and eclectic crew on a journey to shut down some of Toronto's local gems.
