The BMX Support Group visited Eindhoven on a Monday night. People going through a bad time could share their sad stories of being addicted to drugs or alcohol, losing their jobs, hitting rock bottom and simply needing a shoulder to cry on. Actually it wasn't anything like that. Kevin Peraza, Sergio Layos and Courage Adams had made it to town to ride with the locals and to promote Kevin's new BMX shoe. The round circle talking session was more of a live interview with KP himself and those present used the time to ask Peraza anything they wanted. The interest for his new shoe was definitely there and Kevin explained how they've been testing the new sole for a year and a half and how stoked he is to get a signature shoe. Introducing Courage Adams’ first full edit. Ever since stepping on the scene, Courage’s been turning heads with unreal bike control and explosive moves. With Rich Forne as the creative mind behind the lens, Courage's first street part is guaranteed to keep your jaw nailed to the floor. “Jaw-dropping power combined with mind altering technical wizardry. Courage redefines the realms of human capability with one of the gnarliest tricks I have ever filmed.” - Rich Forne
In the fifth and final instalment of VANS UNFILTERED, the unique pairing of Courage Adams and Simone Barraco ventured across remote areas of Sicily. For the high-powered and technical duo Sicily was bliss, countless spots surrounded by dusty roads and volcanic sand beaches. Even the hot temperatures and locals hustle wasn’t enough to slow these guys down, in fact, it added a touch of Italian authenticity to the trip.
Sicily turned out to be the perfect setting for UNFILTERED visionary Rich Forne, the sights and sounds helping spark the trip into life, just like Mount Etna does every day. Barraco remarked, “I’d previously visited Sicily before, however Catania was a completely different level of craziness,”.
The UNFILTERED series heads back to Europe for its fifth episode. This time around it’s the newest addition to the team, Simone Barraco, tagging along with Courage Adams on a mission through the streets and vibes of Sicily. UNFILTERED is a video series that highlights the raw side of a BMX trip. The struggle, achievements, noise, peace, challenges, injuries, languages, architectures, cultures, weather, food, people, traffic, travel and jet lag.
BMXers are completely insane, always jumping off the wildest stuff and getting tangled up in their bikes, yet somehow surviving. Dakota Roche is no different. He goes full blast off gaps, steps, rails... and even moving cars!
