MIke Dominguez still has it in this. It definitely looks like he filmed this all in a day, but he still has that pump. Mike looks like he maybe had gotten in a fight the night before because he has a black eye, but by the looks of him in this video, I'm sure he is the one that came out on top!
I had some footage from the only time i filmed at the trails in SW Portland before that got plowed so i wanted to post up the stuff i had so the riders and diggers had some footage to remember them with. I added in some other footage that had been chilling on my camera for everyone to enjoy.
Lee's "Highway To Hell" part Is a real nice mix of San Diego & Texas riding mixed all up into one. I really love the pool clips in this part like the little rock fakie's in the corner and that Rubenesque carve maybe 20 years before Ruben started making them popular! Lee's Riding was always raw and that is what always got me stoked!
In 1989 2-Hip had the Meet The Street finals in Salem Oregon. Anthony Tangelin was there filming and Snakebite got their hands on that footage almost 30 years later! The video features riding from Ron Wilkerson, Blyther, Craig Campbell, The Dirt Bros, Mike Krnaich, Dino Deluca, Gary Pollack, Eddie Roman, Joe Johnson, Dave Voelker & more! So sit back and enjoy this! Voelker by the way absolutely destroys the comp! - Snakebite
Although the Bully video did not live up to the hype that the company was generating at the time it still was packed with an all star line up. It really feels like they filmed the whole video in a weekend. Even though the video turned out bad there is still a few gems you can find in this. The Dirt Bros. were at the peak of their popularity and nothing really looked cooler than these guys shredding SD on the 2 tone Bully's.
As the decade of Vert dominance of the 80's rolled to an end Jon Byers was boosting as the vert ramps were disappearing and being chopped down to mini ramps. Jon's pump on ramp is magic and i'm always bummed we didn't get to see more footage of him.
