The finals of the Vans BMX Pro Cup Regional Qualifiers in Santiago, Chile was nothing short of a hammer-fest. When all was said and done, Brazil's Douglas Oliveira laced the top spot in the Pro Men’s division and Santiago local Macarena Perez took home top honors Pro Women’s division.
To be completely honest, I had no idea there was even a Best Trick Jam until it started. So, I was caught a little off guard and didn't really stand in the best spot to film the riding. Buuuut, I did happen to be on the deck with all the riders, so here's a bit of a raw/Bullshittin' style cut of the Best Trick Jam at Fise Jeddah... Oh, and they ended up splitting the win between Daniel Wedemejier's whip transfer and Kostya Andreev's indian air seatgrab tailwhip to barspin.
Sometimes flying just doesn't go smoothly. After showing up a day late in Chile, I arrived to the 2018 Vans BMX Pro Cup practice, about halfway through. Despite all that, some HEAVY moves went down.
