After almost 9 years the Skatehalle Innsbruck, in Austria, got a "facelifting" by Schneestern, who also built many other Parks all over Europe and have also designed the Bowl in Waiblingen, that hosted 2019's Vans Pro Cup. Right after the indoor park was finished, Schneestern's lifetime BMXer Gregor Podlesny took Sergio on a tour through the new setup on a night/morning session. And who's better to test a new park, especially if theres a concrete bowl involved, than the style legend himself?
2019's first stop of the Ride Further Tour went down during the ISPO tradeshow in Munich with nobody less than Sergio Layos, JB Peytavit and the freshly crowned Youth Olympics Winner Evan Brandes who took the chance to tear the miniramp apart! Good times and on to the next one!
It was at one of Europe’s largest concrete parks, right next to beautiful lake Constance in Austria where the Ride Further Tour Stop #5 presented by JBL & Homme Magazine was supposed to go down and expectations were high with an amazing lineup of international and local riders but the weather just didn’t feel like playing its part. Non-stop rain forced everyone to go for plan B and check out the indoor parks but together with the riders the crew decided to believe in the changing weather forecast for Sunday and pull the event off in just one day. And luck was on their side! #herewego
